there’s just
this sort of rolling

not majestic
clumsy and
accidental

as if it
wasn’t
planned

and the action of a timepiece
stops
with first impact

and the rolling
stops
when gravity is wearied

and the man
stops
30 seconds later

and there is no
fast forward
or script

to tell you where
this fits
within any of the many arcs

only that the frames
will seem             to               be               moving
much                 slower                 for                 a                 while
